So, random China story from tonight(2AM, very drunk):
So, I mentioned ot some of you there's this girl, Linyin, that really seemed to take a liking to me. Well, as it turns out, she has a boyfriend. But she also has one of her other friends tell me that in 2 days, her boyfriend won't be around. I think the suggestion is obvious, what she wants to do. And she's damn good looking too.
She works at this bar in China - in China lots of bars employ these girls whose job is to get customers to drink. They're pretty damn good at it too. Street smart, etc. I got my ass kicked so hard at some drinking dice game tonight it wasn't even funny, but it was mildly amusing, and I think I finally learned to play a little bit(though I still suck). She actually tag teamed me with her friend named Louise - I totally got my ass kicked, but I managed to win a few games against Louise - probably hte only thing that stopped me from getting alcohol posioning tonight.
Anyhow, it's pretty cool. She's damn good looking and apparently wants me. Unless of course it's a ruse to get me to come back to the bar and drink more(and I'd probably fall for it, damn fool that I am). But I guess that's a chance I have to take? It's crazy shit I've never really done before, but it's pretty fun.
As for my return date, I'm not sure. Was originally slated for next Thursday or somewhere htereabouts, but I'm not sure what it's going to be now. Probably 1-2 weeks later(Nov 5th mb?) - depends on equipment arrival, how long it takes to set it up, and how quickly we manage to ship some parts.
Anyhow, this is pretty different for me - I usually don't do crazy shit like this but it's pretty damn fun, and this trip to China is something pretty incredible that I wouldn't trade for anything. I'm actually working a half day on Saturday/Sunday(ugh) but at least it's the afternoon so I can get some rest.
I'll talk to you guys in Vent or something soon. I'm sorry I can't be around for the formation of this new entity, but my job is my job(and it's been fun too!), and htere's not much I can do. I'll try and stop by in vent some time tomorrow morning my time(fri evening your time?) and get caught up, but I'll probably be hungover. Anyhow, have fun and I'll talk to you all soon.
